Remember newcomers with cost of living you can live anywhere else in alberta for less cost or same price then in this cesspool of a town *if you can even call it that*

Guess the city wanted to make sure they would fade off the map by 2040 by scaring away all growth and development.

No wonder why Edmonton gets eveyone under age 50 they want to live in a sane environment not whatever the town of Barrhead created.

Constantly surprised at the lack of community , kindness and humanity that this little town keeps putting out. I wouldn’t recommend moving here unless you enjoy above average cost of living in Alberta and extreme unwelcoming bias!

Time for anyone under 40 to abandon this cesspool of bigots. Here's to hoping all your service providers leave you bigots to rot. Next time my employer tells me to go to Barrhead. I'm calling in sick.

This landfill is chaos. I've never seen anything like it. There is no organization. Most land-fills dig a pit and have the loaders fill them with junk then add dirt and layer it this way. Then there is no garbage flying around. There is also no safe way to turn around ones vehicle, or back up to a certain point to drop garbage. What am I driving in and over. Nails? Glass? Steel prongs? This place needs more organization. What is Alberta environment to say about this mess as well as other patrons?

We moved back to Barrhead over 10 years ago, it was one of our best decisions for our family and kids. I have worked with the Town staff in various capacities and find them extremely diligent and friendly. We are blessed to have such a fantastic community!

the police force sucks... lots of drugs and such. But a very friendly town most people are pretty chill. Lots of local owned stores and good service at most. So i'd give this town a 3/5 stars.
