This is a charming little cheese museum tucked away in town, definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area. There’s no entrance fee, and you can buy locally made cheese right at the main entrance. A layout map helps guide you through the site, and the front staff were very attentive and welcoming. One of them kindly suggested checking out the Ingersoll Cheese Factory site if you’re short on time.

I especially enjoyed the main community exhibit, which offers a rich glimpse into local history with plenty of artifacts. I spent about an hour exploring the whole site, though you could easily stretch it to two hours if you like to take your time.

One thing I would have loved to see is more hands-on activities, something fun and simple for all ages, like making your cheese or stamping your initials on one. That would really bring the experience to life.

It’s an interesting place to go, I wouldn’t say it’s the best educational place to visit but I wouldn’t say it’s bad, it contained couple buildings with different themed, you can learn some new things around cheese production. But each building had lack of introduction, seemed a bit messy, and one or few felt like an opened warehouse.

Enjoyed a quick look around. Unfortunately the museum wasn't open when we were passing though. Next time we are in the area we will plan to explore more.

It's a neat little chunk of Canadiana that has artifacts from the history of Ontario cheese making. Some of the screens weren't set up yet or working when we visited but there was still a decent amount to see. Even some cheese costumes and paraphernalia for a photo with the giant cheese model. It's free to visit but they accept donations and also have a small amount of Ontario cheese for sale. Friendly helpful staff. There is a small campground beside it and a park with a covered shelter.

Awesome harvest fest event 2024. The free train ride that day was exhilerating even for some adults. And i loved the Camp Coffee Co. The train ride and the coffee are not normally available here though. I've not toured all the museum buildings yet but it's a high on my list, recommended to me by a tourist friend who was here from Alberta.

The least cheesiest museum, but we loved it.

Unexpectedly nice place. Nice collection of items that were used to make cheese plus farm items.

The community museum has a lot of artifacts from the past. Enjoyed learning history of Ingersoll.

Have they got any cheese? There is a small fridge with cheeses made on local nearby farms.

No entry fee - just donation if you want.

Very nice place to check history of town. It’s very small and amazing town. The person managing the museum is very nice and enthusiastic about the history and all the stuff around there.

There is amazing artwork such is must watch and it completely made of wood. Even leafs are made of wood.

This place is free to visit. So do visit if possible highly recommended.
