Every time you call you get different information, just giving you the run-around as to why it's taking almost a year for a case worker to even be assigned to you. Pathetic institution, Rhiana or however you spell it is useless

Worst office. I have a prescription for eye glasses put in. My caseworker so condescending told me it’s 15 business days. No one on the general line said that. I was told 15 days. I guess when you have a degenerative eye disease they don’t give a damn. Little power goes to their heads. I’ll be lodging a formal complaint. The lack of compassion is incredible. Especially if you’re a senior. They waiting for me to die. That way they don’t have to payout. Plus only $40.00 for frames. Such a joke. Just like my caseworker. I put my prescription in on October 31. By my calculations November 22 latest. We’ll see. My eyes getting worse every day.

On two different occasions, I’ve tried to call ODSP Barrie. Nobody answers. You stay on hold for 10 minutes and 30 seconds until it says 705-737-1311 is unavailable. Goodbye. This office is so mismanaged and poorly run. 🫠

It is impossible to get a hold of my Caseworker. They never answer their phone calls, and they are extremely delayed in responding to emails. I tried to speak with someone on their general line, and all they have bothered to do is transfer me yet again to my Caseworker.

I would love to give a zero review but you can’t do that. I am not on ODSP since 2015 I have been a trustee of my daughters. All of a sudden I am no longer a trustee. When questioning why trying to get things done no one can give you any answers. I’ve called the office and tried to talk to the manager yet he just passes me over to the caseworker. Who I asked for some paperwork to be sent and it was sent two weeks later. When I had a conversation with her about this paperwork being sent so late and that I was removed as trustee I just get an I don’t know. They talk down to people as if everybody is not worth their time. She kissed her teeth at me and laughed at me during the conversation when asking questions. She just altogether stopped at answering my questions put me on mute. I was very frustrated and she would not even answer my questions it came down to it where I went to say goodbye and she couldn’t even say goodbye to me. They are extremely rude and feeling entitlement and I could feel that completely. I asked who I can send an email to to report this office and I got a blank answer. I asked them where they keep their paper files because I filled out the paperwork long ago as a trustee and I have been dealing as a trustee for years all of a sudden I am no longer on the file. I honestly can’t believe the disrespect they treated me as so I can’t imagine how they would treat their clients. The government really needs to do something about this office and how they treat their clients.

Four different workers in a three month time span. Was not told there would be changes, just all of a sudden someone new was answering my messages. I go to see if there was mail for me there one week and they say there is none. The next week I check and there is mail....one piece from four months ago and one from August 2022. Yet the week prior there was none? Too many inconsistencies.

After working for 40 yrs I needed some advice and help from these folks. I can see that it can be a tough job. These ladies have a tough shell. But I was treated with respect as I gave much respect. Thank you for your help.

Apparently there is no managers or supervisors in, the receptionist that sounds British will not take the initiative to to send a message to the caseworker as there is an emergency, and also will not send me to another emergency worker that is supposed to be on shift for these type of calls. The initiative of these people is extremely horrible. Receptionist will hang up on you as well, while you're speaking.

There needs to be a performance review done on those type of people. You're working in a place where you help people, if you do not want to help people find a different career path.

No need to be rude about it and hang up in the middle of a call, not like I was even yelling I was just asking if there was someone else to speak to.
