🚩🚩🚩🚩Absolutely Ridiculous Fees and Terrible Service!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS! 🚩🚩🚩🚩

I rarely leave reviews, but this registry office deserves a warning label. The fees here are outrageous — way higher than at other Alberta registries I've used. They charge for everything, even for things that are usually included elsewhere. It feels like they’re more interested in gouging you than helping you.

On top of that, the customer service is downright pathetic. The staff here are consistently rude, lazy, and act like they own you (especially Julie) — pushing you to pay your traffic fine through them when, legally, you don’t have to give them a damn cent. Save yourself their bogus fees and attitude: just take your ticket to the courthouse like the law allows and pay it there — it’s your right!

Save yourself the headache and go literally anywhere else if you can. This place is a money grab with zero respect for the people they’re supposed to serve.

If I can give no stars I would.

Wow I don’t normally do reviews, but after reading some of these negative reviews, I thought I’d stick up for this crew. We have been in several times over the last couple of years, for cars, wedding licenses and questions, and each and every time every single lady there was helpful and friendly. They cannot help how busy it gets and a wait time. I find if your friendly people are friendly, go in with a sour note and perhaps you might get that back in return. They are there to do a job, and not fix mistakes that you made. You should know when your license expires, they aren’t your parents.

If I could give 0 stars I would.
I came in on Saturday and they 1 employee working bye, I came into get a new plate and register a new vehicle, I was told that I needed another piece of documentation (which was an easy fix) & I got it faxed in under 3 minutes & in that time we agreed to let the COUPLE people go ahead of me that was fine since my fax had yet come in. So fast forward an hour or more later! ‘No fax had come in’ was her response after what seemed like a bus load of people she took before helping me again. It just made no sense why I went to the office early, got my stuff in order yet had to wait on the side and watch others go before me when I was there before the ones that came after me? So long sorry short I took my business elsewhere. I later found out my dealership faxed my document 8 times.

Either find better employees or find enough to fill the establishment.

The old lady is rude to me every time and service is painfully slow and terrible. She openly ranted about how she didn't understand why my girlfriend was "in here to try and get her learners again" and that she was "wasting her money". We were standing well within earshot.
On another occasion, the guy told us that he couldn't help us because " it's 3pm and we close in an hour so there wouldn't be time to complete our request." The next day we went in and our "request" took 25 minutes to complete from entering the building to paying the bill.

Luckily the younger ladies in there are polite and very helpful. So thanks to them. Sorry you have to work with those awful people.

Are you looking to "sneak one past the goalie" and falsify a document? Look no further than Julie at the Peace River Registry! This woman is the opposite of thurough. She is too busy to bother looking up information like names, dates and qualifications, she would rather just pull them out of thin air. She is far too rude to leave voice mails, answer calls that are waiting for her on hold, or even say "good bye" at the end of a call. Trying to get this lady to do her job is like pulling teeth, as I've had to hold her hand through every step and even contact the Registries Assurance to help motivate her to complete a basic task correctly. As a customer I felt like an inconvenience. I will happily never return, and advise others to do the same. If I could give 0 stars, I would.

Incredibly slow service. Registered my vehicle incorrectly. Had to go to Grimshaw to have it done correctly. And what's with the price of road tests? I checked every single registry from High Level to Edmonton and by far the most expensive.
