For people like me who’s an old soul, it is an eye candy. Plus the beautiful teacups oh Im in heaven… It is worth the two hr drive from Edmonton. It is in the same area with Bower Ponds so you can pretty much spend the entire day there without getting bored.

While enjoying the Bower Ponds playground with my Grandsons, we walked past this amazing vintage home. The boys asked if we could go inside. I was nervous as they are ruffians and there is china everywhere. Jacquie gave us a fun, informative tour then her and Rehima treated us like royalty! The food, tea and ambiance was outstanding! An excellent memory for our 2025 Easter.

Um Castelinho de Conto de Fadas, com uma decoração de época, e fica de frente para um lago. Os Cafés e chás são deliciosos, mas o que mais gostamos foi a sopa! Um sabor incrível, além de ajudar a combater o frio. 😉. Fomos muito bem atendidos!

We were here on December 1st for the Victorian Christmas it was fantastic I highly recommend it. The house is big and beautiful it was very well decorated for Christmas. I first learned about the Victorian Christmas supper,10 years ago and have always wanted to try the Victorian Christmas supper. The 5 courses were all really good the beef pie crust was fantastic. I made the champagne jellies for our Christmas and my partner figured out how to make the napkin Christmas trees and set our Christmas table exactly the way they set the table, it was fun to bring a little bit of Victorian Christmas to Christmas 2023. They only do the supper one or two nights in December. And a slightly different menu every year. It is definitely something that we would do again. We stopped in for tea for two a couple of years ago and it was a perfect lunch it's a quiet place in a beautiful location definitely a hidden gem of Red deer.

My mom and I had such an incredible experience at the Cronquist Tea House. It was my mom's very first high tea and our server was phenomenal and added to our experience. The food was delicious and pretty. My only feedback would be that if there was a way for the tea to be hotter, that would make it perfect.

Nice historical house that is a heritage home in the Bower Ponds Park. The home is a restaurant. It was closed when my wife and I visited unfortunately. We will have to come back when it is open. It is easily accessible and plenty of parking nearby.

The atmosphere is very much like a period drama. Relaxing instrumental music plays in the background, the decorations are very old-fashioned, tea is served in teapots with teacups, and the food is so yummy! The Hungarian mushroom soup is definitely a favourite, and I recommend Wallah's Masala Chai tea.
The waitstaff are very helpful, sweet, and accommodating. A very nice place.
