I had a very disappointing experience with BrightPath Chestermere. My child attended this center for two years, and I regret the decision every day. I wish I had done more thorough research before enrolling him.

The staff often appeared disengaged and uninterested in their roles, and my child came home looking stressed and unhappy on a regular basis. The environment didn’t feel nurturing or supportive.

The director, Harleen Sahdra, was quick to label my son and recommend external support services (PUF) without thoroughly assessing his needs within the daycare. There was little effort made to explore internal solutions or provide individualized support before jumping to conclusions.

When I raised my concerns, the response was defensive and confrontational. I was given an ultimatum: either enroll my son in PUF or withdraw him from the daycare. This kind of pressure is not appropriate, especially when a parent is trying to advocate for their child’s well-being.

There was also a high turnover rate among staff, which created an unstable environment and made it difficult for my child to build consistent, trusting relationships with his caregivers.

Since switching to another center, the difference has been night and day. My child now comes home happy and looks forward to going back to school the next day — something that never happened while he was at BrightPath Chestermere.

I do not recommend this center to any parent who wants a supportive, consistent, and caring environment for their child.

This childcare facility is exceptional, offering top-notch quality across the board. My son attends here, and I've been impressed by the outstanding staff, well-educated teachers, excellent management, and high safety standards. We can’t say enough wonderful things about the staff and facilities. My daughter has been attending Brightpath since she was a year old (now two and a half). She absolutely loves going and even asks to stay longer when we go to pick her up. The compassion and care the staff have for the children is heart warming and I know she’s always taken care of. From the moment you walk in the doors the staff know my daughter by name and are always so engaging with her. Thank you for providing such a safe and caring environment that supports learning and innovation.

We had** great experiences with the centre until the new director came in. She makes such poor decisions and relies on others to decide. This is frightening in a centre that is of this huge nature. When you ask her questions she seems unknowledgeable and useless.

She has even made unsound decisions to place my son into a classroom that he has never been to even though he does not do well with change. He did horribly there. Also that classroom was at max capacity with at least 4 children with coded behaviours.

Moreover, she had sent an email to everyone (Even parents) about some of the investigations at the centre. She does not even pay attention to details and from the email it is clear that the centre is falling apart—hard.

Overall some of my observations:

-They are crooked when it comes to paying you back your deposit. They say that they never received it and they have. I had to cross back to my bank account going back over 6 and 2 years respectively as I have two children that attended the centre and I DID PAY THE DEPOSIT. I asked them to pay it back SEPARATELY because their accounting is horrendous and makes no mathematical sense. I am very good at math and do not understand what they are doing. I am not sure to date where my deposit is.
-Staff have hit the children on numerous accounts
-Staff changeover is high
-Staff moral is low

Most importantly the queen B on top is the poorest most incompetent leader I have ever seen in my life. BE CAREFUL!

We are very pleased with the quality of care BrightPath has provided for our son (now 18 months). The communication between teachers and parents is so great - I love the pictures and updates I receive on the app about his day. They provide healthy meals, many learning opportunities and have great rapport with the children. The classrooms are extremely clean and the environments are intentional for each age group. Our son loves to learn and we are so thankful to the BrightPath team for engaging him, helping him grow and keeping him safe so we don’t have to worry!

We did a lot of research and visited other centers before deciding on Brightpath Chestermere and we have zero regrets. The facility itself is awesome. It’s bright and cheery and has great indoor and outdoor amenities for children. The center is always decorated wonderfully for holidays and creates a fun interactive space. The Staff is amazing. When our daughter walks down the hall everyone greets her by name! I truly believe that the educators deeply care for the children. Our daughter is excited to go everyday and has learned an incredible amount since starting there.

My daughter has been attending Brightpath for 4 years now and it is the best daycare and out of school care. She loves going every day and loves all of the staff. They have a great outdoor play area and a gym inside for cold or rainy days. The best part is they provide all snacks and lunches. They also follow the Frog Street curriculum for toddlers so I knew what my child was learning each week. We love it!

I am a staff at Brightpath Chestermere since last year. It is amazing to see how well everything is being organized and planned here. It is the best place that offers great care and ample learning opportunities. Its Frog street and Emergent curriculum is age appropriately planned and implemented in the classrooms. Children has access to variety of playing materials in the rooms , in the gym, and in the playground. New Yoga programme is a hit among the children. They love doing it . It is a great daycare facility.
