Your children can no longer say the word "family" because they just dubbed it RACIST. Saying you have a family is racist. Repeat that. Yeah. This school district just banned the word. Utterly disgusting.

im a wheelchair user with DIAGNOSED autism as well. the school board has done absolutely NOTHING to accommodate me. i have been to five schools under this board and nothing has changed. anything with elevators are always out of order or on the edge off breaking. i have talked to people in my school and the board multiple times about safe spaces to help with sensory overload and it's always the same when i've said multiple times that it dosn't help.

Horrible school board, the safety of our children is not important to them. They were the last board in Ontario to close for the eclipse, now even though they have a written policy about extreme heat days, they are choosing to ignore it completely to run a district track meet. So I guess you're teaching our children that written polices are just a suggestion and to not follow them. Great now my kids can get sun stroke at a track meet instead of being in an air conditioned building. The board says keep them at home if you don't want them to attend....great put the kids at risk who's parents can't stay home with them as they work as essential workers in our community. This board should be disbanded as it continues to make bad and dangerous decisions daily.

This school board has caused a lot of harm. They will do and say ANYTHING to get you to be quiet when bringing forward abuse of students. Abuse from staff and other students. Especially if the child is special needs. They lie to protect themselves instead of the children. I'm so sorry to have to write this, but it has been an actual nightmare for years. We have no voice.
