So amazing the items on display are so priceless to see before my time the school had so many different bicycles amazing the massive train to the old horse buggys well worth a visit and the price is great you can while there get a pass for the jail tour it is with in walking distance or a 2 minute drive. The price for both was $12.50 vs $7.50 each.

We were in Goderich and found this museum. It happened to World Museum Day and the entrance was free!

A nice museum with so many things to see specially from Huron County. All the agricultural/farm equipment, bicycles, farm tools, military stuff and so much history from homes. The highlight? An entire coal steam engine (it is massive) inside. You can get in and feel the size of it.

There was a section for the salt mine which was still under construction but still open. The lady was so kind to walk us through what was available and explain how salt is mined in Goderich - works largest underground salt mine. I am so glad the brand that we purchase is mined in Goderich. Elbows Up!

This museum is HUGE! Think housing a locomotive inside huge! There are multiple interactive displays that will delight children and adults alike. I especially loved the "Main Street" display, which will make you feel ported back to the turn of the century.

The museum is very handicap accessible, even including a retrofitted elevator in the old building. Parking for an RV is challenging, but I was able to find an out of the way spot across from a church on a weekday. Pair this ticket with the nearby Huron Gaol for a discount. BOTH museums are well worth the visit! They were definitely some of my favorites.

Great museum located in Goderich, ON. Lots of local history to be had if your into learning about your local history. Also a great stop for traveller's in the area looking to learn about Goderich and Huron County. Definitely will be back. Kids and myself enjoyed it immensely.

Really interesting museum and such a beautiful building. If you're in the area definitely check it out. My 3.5 year old loved the train exhibit and seeing all the old equipment, but any adult interested in history would enjoy a tour.
There is also a little building station for kids.
