For anyone thinking of subscribing to the premium membership of Morningstar.ca, this review is for you so you can know what you are getting yourself into. In 2021 I subscribed to the premium membership of Morningstar.ca. For diverse reasons, I didn't wanted to renew my subscription for the year 2022. First of all, there is no way to cancel your subscription online. So I sent an email 1 month before the expiration date to let know Morningstar that i didn't wanted to renew my subscription for the year 2022. I received an email that my message has been forwaded to the concerned team. Without any follow up email from the so called concerned team, I took for granted that my cancellation request had been received and processed, only to see that a charge for the renewal of my subscription had been taken on my credit card days later. I tried to contact Morningstar by mail and telephone and no answer. Literally no one answer my multiple emails or return my calls. It's been two weeks and still not able to talk to someone to have a refund. I'm now in the process to dispute the charge with my financial institution in hope to see the color of that money again. So, you, thinking about to subscribe for a premium membership on Morningstar.ca, be well advised that when the time comes to cancel your subscription, it will be a hell of a hustle.
