This place is superb!! Been here quite a few times when struggling with something to eat. You won't get judged and you might even find new friends and have a laph. Big respect to all the volunteers that help keep this place running

There are NO negatives to this place. The volunteers are great and the management actually care.
If you need something warm, clothes or food. Ask these guy's , it's
refreshing. Thanks guys and have a great new year. X

The gatehouse is a drop in cafe for homeless and vulnerably housed people. All are welcome and people don't have to sign up or give personal details about themselves to attend. Food and drink, clothing and bedding are available for people in need. The gatehouse is open six days a week usually, but is offering a takeaway service for rough sleepers only, and a good parcel service for others for the time being. It can be quite a sociable place, and many regulars depend on it. It is funded by a group of churches and others who contribute. There are many friendly and helpful staff and volunteers. Might have given more, except that as usual in these places staff dont make any attempt to deal with anti social activity. A bloke threatened to break my jaw and no one said a word....
