I have never been treated so rudely by a store employee. At 4:15 on Sunday January 22, 2023 I was checking out my 2 items at register 3. The cashier who had no name tag was about 50 with light brown hair. When it was my turn she was talking to another cashier and did not acknowledge me. She scanned my 2 items and at that time the man behind me handed her a large number of lottery tickets to be checked. She shuffled them about while I was paying with my debit card. When my transaction was finished she was talking to another cashier about how long it would take to check the tickets. She handed me my receipt and walked away. I said loudly “you’re welcome”. She then turned to me and said “do you need a bag?” Those were the only words she said to me.
CUSTOMER SERVICE was non existent.

A very clean and friendly place to shop. Just 2 things irked me, 2 for or 3 for item stickers are very bold but the fine print is too small to even read. Also have my Scene card on my phone in a store that has no WIFI and where I can't get reception

This store isn't all that bad for a small community. I don't live in NS anymore, so of course, the prices of stuff is crazy back here. There's a lot in this store for being so small. You will find something to eat.

I like this one, everyone is so nice here and the store is clean and always fresh and full . The staff is friendly and they remember you when you go in. It's always nice and reliving going in there.

The staff are courteous and helpful. The store is clean and well-stocked with a good variety of products. However, I find they are becoming increasingly more expensive to shop at than Independent where a larger selection of products can be found.

Went to Foodland grocery store in Chester. The store had local products for sale and which they promote by adequate signage.  What better gifts to bring home but local products. Bought some to bring home and give to friends and family.
