I had the incredible opportunity to complete my clinical placement at Chartwell Retirement Residence, and I truly cannot say enough good things about the experience. From the very first day, I felt welcomed and supported by everyone—from the kind and compassionate PSWs to the professional and approachable management team.

The staff go above and beyond to create a warm, respectful, and caring environment for both residents and team members. I learned so much from the PSWs, who were always willing to share their knowledge, offer guidance, and include me in meaningful hands-on experiences. Their dedication and teamwork were truly inspiring.

The residents were also a huge highlight of my placement. They were friendly, full of wisdom, and made every day enjoyable. I felt valued and appreciated, and the connections I made during my time there will stay with me for a long time.

Overall, my placement at Chartwell Queens Square was nothing short of amazing. It was a supportive, enriching, and heartwarming experience that confirmed my passion for this field. I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity

Chartwell Queens Square is a fabulous place to live. My mother lived there for 8 years and loved it. My mother-in-law recently moved in and although being apprehensive about the move, she has settled in wonderfully. This is mostly thanks to the excellent staff. Caring, attentive, knowledgeable about seniors needs and so kind. From the manager to the nursing staff, to the chef and all the kitchen help. Everyone knows your name and you’re treated like family. The location is great, food is varied and delicious, lots of activities to enjoy and new friends to meet. I honestly can’t say enough good things about Queens Square. I feel so at home when I walk in and hope that I can someday in the future move in too! ❤️

Had this amazing opportunity to visit Cambridge Chartwell retirement home over a few times and I wish to let others know that I totally got the vibes that people are absolutely happy living there as I found the staff being very caring and they truly want to help and make you feel at home! I'm a member of Rotary Cambridge Sunrise, a club that been in the Cambridge community for 30 years. Chartwell Queen's Square Retirement Residence has graciously offered us use of their beautiful multipurpose room for our meetings. The staff are always friendly and kind, and the facility is bright, warm, and welcoming. We're very grateful for their generosity, supporting us as we do good in the community and abroad.

I had the privilege of doing my Co-op at Chartwell Queen's Square, and I can't express enough how grateful I am to Jasmin and the entire team for being so welcoming and making my experience unforgettable. I was able to lead activities, teach classes, and engage in one-on-one sessions with the residents, all of which Jasmin helped me prepare for. I learned so much during my time here and am very thankful to Chartwell for providing it!

My father moved into Queens Square last December. Since he his arrival, he has received the highest level of personalized care and support to support his individual needs. The staff consistently acknowledge all the residents by name and they interact so warmly and compassionately to create a positive environment for everyone. They engage the residents with a variety of fun activities and events. From the moment he arrived, they have supported him to ensure he is able to fully integrate into all aspects of life at Queens Square. I am so grateful for their support, compassion and professionalism.

This was my first time visiting a friend at Chartwell Queen’s Square. I noticed right away how bright and airy the inside is and how clean everything was. What struck me most was the friendliness of the staff. Christina, the office manager, welcomed me with a warm smile, quickly looked up the information I needed and helped me orient myself. Her service and effort to make me feel welcome was very much appreciated. Great first experience.
