Nick installed a new overhang for us, talked to us about making it a little more fancy, we agreed and I was thankful we did. It turned out beautiful
Then at a later date we asked him if he could replace rotted wood and replace our carport roof. It turned out better than the original
He was always there at the time he said he would be, and the job was finished in a timely manner

When we purchased our house more than 15 years ago, it required a whole makeover, and Nick has been instrumental in assisting us with many small and large projects—which I will outline below—all the way up to this point. You will discover that Nick is very focused on the task at hand. He has proven over the years that he is intelligent, knowledgeable and works carefully and safely; the results show this as well as the calibre of his work.

Nick took our shell of a basement and transformed it into a fully functional one-bedroom basement suite for us. He completed all of the framing, drywall, plumbing, electrical, painting, and flooring. From drilling through cement to complete the plumbing for a full bathroom, to installing a small laundry room, to making the custom-fitted cupboards and drawers to fit in the full kitchen. The bedroom was constructed with a structural wall being put in place. The end result is fantastic!

Nick's most recent project involved building us a functional mini-house from the ground up. From excavation and pouring concrete to framing, insulating, and drywalling, to constructing a metal roof with a skylight window. I'm not privy to everything that goes into building a little home, but I know the end result is amazing!

In our home, Nick made structural changes to the main floor to create an open concept, complete with wood beam and a log fireplace.
Along with:
- Removing our old kitchen floor and installing a new one.
- Laying the tile, the wood floor, and putting in our cabinets
- Taking out all of our old windows and replacing them with new ones
- Building us a private and beautiful large cedar deck – We love it!
- Replacing our carport roof and adding a new roof to the front of our house
- Pouring concrete to make us sidewalks leading to the mini-house

There's a lot more, but because this is getting lengthy, I'll stop here and just say this: We highly recommend NTH Building & Maintenance for all your building and maintenance needs! 100%

I am most pleased with the results of a difficult and detailed staining project of 15 heritage style windows. Nickolas took the extra time to closely matched the stain to the existing , showed up on time ,completed ahead of schedule,and was a pleasure to have in our home. I highly recommend NTH Building and Maintenance.
