Never any staff in the store. I went this morning to the Berkey’s corner location to fill my tank and after waiting for 5 minutes in the store no one came so I went to the 7/11 down the road. 7/11 is were I’ll be taking my money because Canco doesn’t care. This isn’t the first time there has been no staff anywhere in the building.

I remember when this place used to be Bruce's groceries and I love going there now it's not so nice to go to the atmosphere isn't there anymore of warmth and friendliness

So, my family and I have travelled across this country and back - and typically we rarely have any issues with doing laundry, but it does happen sometimes.
As for our experience here at this place tonight - it wasn’t as nice as we hoped it would be.
Unfortunately our clothes did NOT come out clean for us at all:
Our clothes are never ever disgusting aside from typical stains from children playing and having cat pee on some articles because cats and all, but when we went to let the management know about our clothes not being cleaned appropriately and one washer even yielded completely dry clothing and the one washer didn’t even remove the musky scent - despite using concentrated soap and vinegar.
When the manager finally arrived here to “inspect” the issue he pretty much put the blame on us - saying that our clothes must’ve been too dirty for the machines.
That’s an excuse I’ve never heard before nor is it accurate.
I was then told is company policy not to refund my cash, but would happily fund re-washing out clothes instead as it’s a policy to not give cash back - and as responsible parents we can’t just stay up all night doing laundry - so obviously we can’t just take him up on this offer to do our laundry right now.

I am pretty disappointed with the fact that our clothes did NOT come out clean and that the manager had the audacity to put the blame on our clothes being dried - considering that the one washer literally gave us dry clothes.

Clearly we aren’t stoked on their “policy” - so that obviously means that we won’t be coming back here to do laundry.

Could not care less about customer satisfaction!! The prices are so very out of the norm, expensive!
However the Indigenous lady that rang me through was so very curteous and friendly!!
She made sure to greet each person as they entered the store!

The new owner has done an astounding job of making a good place into a awsome shopping experience. The fresh meat and delli items are always fresh and tasty and enjoyable. The prices are the best in the area.

I like this little store. They make great spinach pies and have good prices on steaks for my hubby.
