My mom was a CCS member who I opened an estate file for 5 months ago after she passed away. CCS has been a nightmare to deal with despite my mom having a will and named beneficiaries. My dealings with Member Advice Specialist Reshevski Jack, Branch Manager Spencer Watling and Relationship Manager Danny Dan have resulted in nothing. They ignore emails, give excuses and empty apologies, provide no information, give no status updates. I have escalated repeatedly and filed a complaint all to no avail. BEWARE. CCS's goal appears to be to stonewall executors until they give up so that CCS can keep deceased members' money.

My partner and I set an online appointment and got scheduled with Danny Dan. Wow, what an amazing guy! He is so personable, genuinely seems to care about you and your future, and is all around a kindhearted person. Thank you for your hard work, Danny!

Went to this branch at lunch and it was very busy. The line was super long and only two tellers were working, so the line took some time to work through. However, while most of the other employees walked past the line while avoiding eye contact or apologizing for the wait, Rahul Gill worked diligently to help the tellers with all the customers in line. He was thorough and helpful, and after I was seated with him, I was out the door in 5 minutes.

WORST. BANK. EVER.

Left messages, never heard back. Emailed someone I had previously dealt with and they said they worked in another branch now but couldn't refer me to someone in my branch. Tried booking an appointment with their online tool and no times available.

All I wanted to do was buy an RRSP GIC. You'd think they'd want my business, especially since I'm a member.

I went somewhere else instead.

AVOID.

I have been banking at Coast Capital for over ten years (my business and personal accounts). Slightly understaffed during peak times, but excellent service and support when you need to deal with managers or investment staff. Banks are so much more than tellers these days, the web site is easy to use and functional, and there is alway a person to talk with on the phone or with a booked appointment. They have been a great leader in community support too.

I've had many bad experiences with Coast Capital. This location in particular is always understaffed and the wait tends to be 30 minutes at least. It also seems like they just don't care. I talked to the manager once about a couple of complaints and said I wasn't satisfied with the service. I told him I was thinking about switching banks unless they took some action and he basically said I should go ahead and switch banks then. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend.

I have dealt with many financial institutions in multiple provinces. I have been a loyal and enthusiastic member for over 35 years. Member service is their priority not corporate profit for a bank. They always go the extra mile and offer helpful knowledgeable help.

No communications from this branch then out of the blue an email with a deal if you open a automatic deduction savings account.
So I email back with date I'm available, whole day was clear. No reply.
No Reply next day.
Half way thru the day I stated I was available I get an email stating no one's available. But she says she tried to call me a couple of minutes before the the email was sent to say there was an opening.
My phone sitting right beside me never rang.
Now they want to know when I'm available to see ' if ' they can do something for me.

Far from good enough.

UPDATE: The email exchange ended after she sent a message stating the phone number they called and I replied back that it was the correct phone number.
Now they say it has gone on to Member services team and they haven't done jack about it 2 weeks later.

I would not advise anyone to use this credit service.
