Vancity comes up on the page of no credit check when opening up a bank account. This is not true at all, they require a credit check and more. This bank treated me like a 3rd class citizens. I would not recommend this bank to anyone looking to get ahead in life. Even though it's against the law to get denied anyone a bank account this bank doesn't care.

Always have an easy time with vancity and vancity visa customer service.

Customer since I was born and mainly the last 10 years. I closed my Scotia bank for these guys 🤪

Never able to get on the phone with a representative from my branch.

Customer service is horrible. Don’t bother trying to get help, cause you won’t even get as much as a call back.

If you try to call and make an appointment for something of personal matter and importance; you’ll just get out in the phone with the automotive assistant the whole time and then it will hang up.

So basically, there is horrible customer service and you can never call your branch cause no one will pick up.

This credit union and company are absolutely horrible.

I am actually a big supporter of credit unions and have always loved Vancity. However, my last 2 visits have left me wondering why? I have had horribly rude and condescending customer service both times. I hope they read this and get it under control as no person coming into bank should be treated like an idiot like I was today.

Vancity Doesnt offer visa debit cards. So if you want to use your own cash to make online purchases you should consider banking elsewhere.

No weights fast efficient had no problems did it by cash machine which was at the same height as someone that would be in a wheelchair or if you were standing up there's two of them both easily accessible and as soon as we walked in we walked right up to one of the machines and did her business and then we left it was great cuz I hate wasting time

Horrible customer service. I can not wait to close the account there.

I was treated very poorly at this branch yet at Bank of Montreal or TD doing the same banking no issues. Do yourself a favor go else where- they are lacking in customer service.
