Its not the office's fault as theyre just doing their job and they are kind and polite but this entire program is extremely frustrating as paperwork submitted in the office takes too much time to get to the people on your file. The hours here are also frustrating as when most people are off work their office is also closed so can't get in to talk to someone during work hours. I don't understand how junkies who won't even try seem to get assistance no problem but someone who is struggling to get by is constantly needing to submit extensive amounts of paperwork every month or you don't get paid. Seems like every month there is something new and some people actually need the assistance so they don't end up homeless. Also the lineups are nuts some days and it can be exhausting and scary waiting in line with a small child surrounded by unsavoury people

I was told 1-3 days for my cheque to go through. It’s now been 5. Do not do direct deposit!!!!

Staff are extremely helpful and kind. Security always opens and holds the door for people, which is very beneficial when you have a stroller. The people complaining need to understand that this location doesn't control if you get your cheque, they're just doing their job. Anytime I ever did have an issue, it was resolved quite fast and efficiently.

So you guys help the homeless but when someone has tumor and the start of cancer, you guys don't help to go to the specialist just before I'm not on pwd because there's no doctors in kelowna....keep the druggies alive and kill off the others ...and to the lady whom hung up on me I hope you lose someone very close then get denied for any sort of help because you deserve it your a horrible person and need a new job

The people who work here are very kind and helpful, the service was fast and efficient. The only concern is that the number of visitors inside is limited, although there are many chairs. So the line is outside, where you cannot really sit down (not on the ground) no matter what condition you are in. Please reconsider this approach.

If I could give -10 stars I would. The staff at this location are rude. I asked a simple question and told the worker that I don't even live in BC anymore over the phone and I was told "Quit being rude." This was AFTER telling her multiple times that I told the Chilliwack office back in December 2020 that we were moving. It was around this time that they started claiming they over paid us etc. 🙄

If there was a negative 5 stars, that is not even close to the level of my experience at this office. I'm on perminant disability from breaking my neck in 5 places and have had a totally unnecessary struggle to get my cheque multiple times, even as far as being told I have to get a number from income contribution office to find out they don't and never have givin out a number for this request. When I got back to the window (with the kind lady on my phone speaker) I was told "I don't need to talk to you or her " and was handed my cheque promptly. That tells me and the lady on my phone that it was all a game. Because they knew there was no such number..
