I was accepted here last year, my kids were in care and the worker here had to talk to my ministry worker before moving in... the ministry worker told them I tried to burn down a church (I DID NOT) they rejected my application without proof of these allegations and my children resided in care for 6 months longer than expected. My social worker hates me cause I hate her for taking my kids. Im just wondering how do you guys think your reconciling anything when you don't even look into details but side with mcfd and the lies they tell? All these native organizations "truth and reconciliation" always side with the govt so what the f eh?

Hi.
Me and my hubby were looking forward to this sale. We saved money and also generated 4 orders that I could not get because of neglect due to the staff there who seemed to be serving everybody except me. They proceed to tell me they are sold out and to go to the back of line. This lack of joy and lack of hospitality it's atrocious.
Please organize your events in such a way that everyone will feel welcomed and treated equal .
I am appalled wish I could see solidarity amongst us.
I was very hurt .

They got rid of one of their renting programs, the person I was in contact with over email and phone never told me that they were cutting funding. Was hoping to use the program for my 1st month's rent, tried and tried to get ahold of the worker I was in contact with literally a week before to no avail. Terrible experience. Disheartening really. That there was no heads up even of their parting.

Its a very nice place. People around are approachable. If you need assistance, just go to the outreach center at Wall st. There are free activities and lunch for the elderly. Everyone is welcome.
Due to covid restrictions, masks are required in the premises.

They offer services to aboriginal mothers that no one else in canada offers. More places like this are needed for people going through the motions with MCFD. It helped me get my daughter back into my care. Fantastic place.
