I'm very grateful to WAVA, for the many times I've walked through their doors, coming from one challenge, after another in the past years.
Due to mist recent obstacles in my life, housing, necessities, nervous breakdowns, severe anxiety, etc. I've ended up there, just knowing, that I had safety, an open door, and great listeners.I will always remember the life saving lines they handed me , and am forever grateful and appreciative to them all...

I love that their front desk staff always knows how to handle your questions or what you’re trying to ask Lol. Also that. if they don’t know how to help you, but they know who to go to in the building to help you or where to send you or they’re very knowledgable on using tools on to look it up !?! I love how confidentialities is huge there. Yet they will still acknowledge you in a grocery store when you smile !

This is the most amazing resource in the Cowichan Valley (IMO). They welcomed my family with open arms at a difficult time in our lives. Offering us endless support, services and acceptance. We would not be where we are today without these amazing women. I owe them my life ❤️

Very clearly WOMEN against Violence yet they do not support MEN who women lie about , and do so for the purpose of eviction. They then will ban you if you prefer to not work with them.
