My mother was referred to the Clinic in 2011. At the time she was a Swedish resident. She had undergone surgery for brain tumour in Seeden which unfortunately had not gone well, was still suffering from multiple issues with complex seizures. .
Dr. JAVIDAN spent hours taking history and observing her. Had tests done on the same day. Had us back in his office after the tests on the same day for another meeting. He was kind, patient, observant and understood the dynamics of the situation. Gave us hope and reassurance. What he did not know, was that, he was the light at the end of a long challenging, painful and tiring journey. Mom’s seizures were under control within a few months. Dr. Javidan made himself available not only at the Clinic but via phone as well. He put up with and understood my array of emotions as a caregiver as well. I am forever grateful.
When we were referred back to the Clinic a few years later, Dr. Javidan no longer accepted new patients and we got to meet Dr. AGHA-KHANI. He greeted My 91 year old Mother and started pushing her wheelchair into his office. This gave my mother and me an immediate sense of relief as he was acknowledging her and knew how to connect with her right away. He spoke to her directly the whole time, made eye contact and spent Almost TWO HOURS taking history, asking questions, examining her. I could see how much my mother trusts him all made possible by his approach! He was kind, patient, knowledgable, respectful, competent and beyond understanding.
I do not even know how these busy Specialists would spend this much time with their patients given all the challenges of our Healthcare system. All I can say is Kudos to them for making a difference in the world!
May they be blessed with long and healthy lives.
