While looking for a washing machine, I phoned and spoke with Betty. She was extremely helpful and personable. When we arrived to pick up the machine we were pleased to see how clean the store is. The staff were all helpful and the prices very reasonable. Highly recommend if shopping for good used items.

Just a warning when bringing in donations to this location.
The list of acceptable and unacceptable donations online is wrong.
This location is super picky what it will or won't accept.

Love this store - their prices are great and I love seeing what they have. The staff are awesome and were so kind with our kids who got some little trinkets from the man running the store.

Love this store, the world needs to use stores like this not everything needs to be thrown away lots of people can use your used stuff and need it please donate or come by and check what they have youde be surprised what you will find from washers and dryers to odds and sodds in electrical and plumbing, lights, dresser, mattresses and more I go like once a week last week I got a 55 inch led 4k TV!!!!

The Friday ladies Heddy and Hannah are lovely, lovely people and so helpful. We have managed to virtually buy a new home through Restore @ Castlegar and their help was invaluable. We met some other volunteers today (Jesse and another lady at the till) and they were just as lovely.
We cannot recommend Castlegar Restore too highly and urge you to pay a visit. There is some really top quality stuff there at a price most can afford and the proceeds help local homeless people. Win/Win all around.
