We have just moved into our Toelle Construction built home on Quadra Island. Having built a number of homes in the past with contractors and as an owner builder we are very familiar with the building process. We have to say thanks to Marshall Toelle and his crew for a job well done. Marshall was on top of the job on a daily basis offering us advice and his careful scheduling of sub trades assured the building progressed without delay. The result was the project came in on budget and our move in was a full month ahead of schedule. Marshall's attention to invoicing was also much appreciated. The detailed invoice system shows exactly where your monies are being spent. If you are looking for a honest, professioal contractor with a 5 star team we highly recommend J Toelle Construction .

To start with, Marshall Toelle and team did a superb job in orienting the house to fit beautifully with the landscape and maximize views. The site came with challenges and his team dealt with building on uneven, rocky terrain with amazing skill. A wonderful aspect of our building experience was dealing with Marshall – he was a clear communicator and often, after carefully listening to our thoughts, would come back with even better suggestions for improvements. Throughout the process his keen eye for esthetics made a real difference. His team and the subtrades were all fantastic. One thing that we believe is almost unheard of in the home construction industry is that J. Toelle Construction came in under budget.

Our custom design required engineered concrete piers on rock in a gulley. Matt's team with Reuben as site super not only embraced our vision but owned it! Matt & Marshall look after their clients extremely well, and pull off brilliant/creative results with their team. Clients come back again and again for another little add on project.
