Sunrise of Killarney has been the best place for our parents to live out their golden years. We did much research into all the long term and memory care options in Vancouver/Lower Mainland region for our parents for their ideal location, services, price and especially Asian food options. Sunrise Killarney met all of these criteria and after 3 months of being there our parents are really enjoying the activities, care and services. The best part of Sunrise of Killarney has been the staff who have consistently shown their expertise, caring nature and deep respect for our parents and especially listening to feedback to improve the lives for all residents. We highly recommend Sunrise of Killarney - and as our Dad says “ I AM SO HAPPY. I love this place, and the people are so friendly. I love it here”.

Sunrise Killarney is a beautiful building. I was particularly struck by our visit to the Memory Care floor. Dementia is a terrible affliction but the activity room was full of busy people who looked happy. Many of them were sitting around a big table doing various things while others were walking around and I think were enjoying the buzz. I'd feel perfectly comfortable recommending Sunrise Killarney to anyone with a loved one suffering from a cognitive decline.

Care aids & nurses are very nice to the residents and they do their jobs well. Admin does try to go the extra mile to help out. Kudos to you, Team Sunrise Killarney! I want to thank all of you for the stay that my parent had here. Thanks for everything!

Now open. This is the newest Sunrise Senior Living centre in Greater Vancouver. It is well staffed, beautifully decorated, and has awesome management. There is a great vibe here from leadership and all those who work there; like a happy family. It is conveniently accessible by transit. #seniorsvancouver #seniorliving

My mom recently moved here after a fall and a long hospital stay. Everyone at Sunrise is so caring and on the ball, and they have great communication with family members, always keeping us in the loop on activities as well as Mom's wellbeing. The facilities are really lovely. The common areas are cozy and beautifully decorated, and there are always lots of activities and outings planned. We are very pleased with Sunrise of Killarney!

My experience was a huge disappointment. The facility is beautiful BUT the sales experience was horrible. Putting a loved one in a care facility is a stressful thing but let's be honest, much of the decision is based on what the person can afford. I specifically asked about prices before I took time off work to visit the facility. I got preliminary pricing and it was in the budget. I was very clear that money was an important decision making factor. When I got there, the woman needed to look up the price and quoted me 30% more than what they had quoted me on the phone last week. I had a red flag in my mind when they set me up to talk to a director of sales and my hesitation was right. Maybe Sunrise should consider a calling the person something that focuses on care rather than revenue so they at least consider the perspective of the person and their loved ones. Telling someone the right price matters. We're talking 36,000 more per year than I was quoted - that's a lot of money.

Such a beautiful community, the staff are extremely helpful & very kind. A lovely decorated place that makes you feel welcomed & right at home, i’m so thrilled & proud that my Grandmother gets to spend her days in this paradise. Thankyou Sunrise!
