Anybody that works as hard as this couple does to provide quality materials at competitive pricing 7 days a week, deserves to be supported. The big bonus for shopping at Low Cost …. you don’t leave upset. Try that at Home Depot when you can’t find someone dressed in orange to help.

Will be a sad day when retirement comes.

Got them to qoute me a bunch of wood came to 750 got funds from client. Was on my way to pick it up he called me back and said he messed up the price was 950. Than told me he wouldn't keep his original price and told me to go back to client for more funds. I called golden spike lumber and they where cheaper than his original route.

Wish I would have come here sooner and not supported the big box chains for so long. I'd rather shop local and pay slightly more, if that is the case, to support a local business than a chain store. Been there twice now for 2 projects and I have experienced nothing that the past reviewers have said of poor service.

Been going there for years and have recieved great service. His lumber is some of the best around and is usually from a bound bundle so it hasn't warped yet unlike the big box stores. Ernie will discard substandard pieces and only give me a good board. I like the fact there is usually no line up and I'm in and out in good order...if you like to pick thru twisted lumber and stand in line at a check out go to Home depot or rona.

Called Friday afternoon to rent a post pounder for pick up on Monday. Drove in from out of town for Monday pick up, says he put away for season, after we had already confirmed. Refused to rent to us, says ground frozen (not the case at our place). Says he called Friday morning to cancel (we didn't book until Friday afternoon and have no voicemail and no record of phone call). Will not be going here again for anything.

The guy who answered the phone was a touch impatient with me. I called for a quote and he just made me write down the prices on my own as opposed to taking my material list and sending me a proper quote. After doing the math, they were over double what Grove Lumber quoted me.

Don't let him help you load. He will throw in his rotten lumber that he can't sell. Only his wood screws are at a decent price.
