This place is for intoxicated people to go sleep, shower and eat, although they need more donations for food and clothes and shoes, also they need to fix the woman's shower, you literally have to lean against the wall as the water trickles down to clean yourself off. It's not to bad of a place, no outbreaks at this shelter, just loud people at night while your trying to sleep, there is a staff member that does go stealing other people's cellphones, torches, weed, pills anything valuable at this place, so BEWARE and HIDE your stuff well or on you.

Wanted to buy some parts from Alpha for a 2022 Ford f150. The prices were reasonable and the guys were friendly and helpful! I would definitely come back when parts are needed. A+++++ service!

Some very kind workers. But it is absolutely disgusting place to stay. In my experience and other people I know - you will get turned down if you’re not intoxicated or high, but also can and will get turned down if you’re too intoxicated. Its very unfortunate as when I was trying to remain sober I had an Alpha staff member literally tell me i “need to go drink more” before they’d take me in. Smells like literally poop and piss. Bathrooms are gross. Mats don’t seem to have been washed, ever.

I went to Alpha house to escape my narcisistic Lanlord and it is also a place I am considering moving into once I am done renting. The staff was amazing, told me everything I needed to know, very direct and to the point. Unless if you don't mind sleeping around homeless people then I obvioously it's not for you, but I personally have had a lot of good history with the homeless so I personally don't mind.

Very organized, honest staff, structure for clients, safety and security! Outreach assistance for people in the cold!! This place is client centred and safety and security centred! People first! Then staff are knowledgeable on how to put people and clients first!!! I was very impressed I came from Ontario and I haven’t seen organization like this in my life!!!

Was an absolute nightmare. I mean this place definitely needs new management or something. Whats the point of it all if ur really not helping the people who are homeless and in need of help. It’s a safe haven for drug addicts that’s it threw and threw. no order what so ever. people yelling and screaming threw out the night and the worst part is the fentanyl users are able to smoke there deadly drug freely. Unfortunately I’m facing a hard time in my life and had to spend one night there I never slept a wink and the next day all I can taste and smell is fentanyl it’s even on my clothes nasty nasty place 🤮 I’m sorry guys but surly your organization can do a lot better then what i witnessed.

I live next door and just moved to Calgary..
every time I go to my car some gross guy from alpha house is hitting on me and making gross comments and also I can never get any sleep because there’s people constantly yelling outside the window.
