I recently had the opportunity to volunteer at the Veterans Association Food Bank, and it’s truly a place that needs to be seen to fully appreciate the great work they’re doing. The dedication of the team and the support they provide to veterans is inspiring. It’s uplifting to be a part of an organization that goes above and beyond to help those who’ve served. If you're looking for a way to give back to the community, I highly recommend getting involved!

Doing the veteran community a great service for those in need. Also a great place to visit every second Tuesday for coffee break whether you want to relax alone in the sofa, play some guitar, or chat with likeminded people.

As a veteran if 12 years service, the food bank has been an overwhelming association. I hate that I need to depend on them but having been out of work since August 2023 due to catastrophic heart failure, coma, two open-heart surgeries and a bout of pneumonia in between, the association has been a godsend.

We were finally able to visit their facility and it was simply amazing. Thank you all for being there for us when we needed you. You are all appreciated so much.

As a Volunteer, I have helped with the Food Bank from its start. We need more canned and dried goods and some holiday treats and chocolate store bought would be greatly appreciated.

Wonderful people, are veterans are the best we have! These are people that put it all in the line for the safety and security of our country. The Canadian government appears to forgotten this, as we're going to words Christmas let's hope Canadians appreciate and remember to drop something off for these folks.

I am a volunteer driver for the VAFB. I really enjoy delivering food to the veterans. They aren’t forgotten. They should know that their brother’s and sister’s are there for them. A big Thank You to the people who donate to help the veterans in need. God bless the volunteer’s at the food bank.
