An organization that offers a variety of services to low income I individuals and families. Tax preparation, housing guidance,community lunches every Thursday at 11:45am. The staff are from the heart with approach and believe in treating all people with the same dignity and respect. If they don't have the service or programs you are looking for they will point you in the right direction to help with the services you need. Government funded in part but rely on donations and fundraising to provide there services. In addition to the community lunches they also have Pow Wows, Round dances, and an after school child daycare program. Incredible people and staff who lead from the heart.

There’s a big lady with brown hair who is so rude. I was lost and was supposed to pick up a food hamper through Edmonton food bank. I was sent here by the security in the mall, I had no idea I was at the wrong building.
This lady with the brown hair was so rude and offensive when I told her I was here for the food bank, she scoffed at me and told me “no we can’t” and a lady who accompanied her kindly suggested I ask another place down the hall. The rude big lady told her “they’re closed at 1 there’s nobody there”. She was just so rude and didn’t want to help me, she treated me like I just walked up expecting food. She didn’t listen when I told her it was booked through Edmonton food bank, and I wasn’t just walking up here expecting to be handed food. So dehumanizing.

Not organised .the one guy is a gem there but a certain other lady doesnt have a clue what shes doing and messes up alot.the desk lady is aproachable and helpful

It's a community resource place , they had lots of activities . Catered mostly to low income , single parents, or immigrants. Felt out of place, even though I was directed to go there by a counselor.

Candora is a wonderful place with a lot of information the free activities and groups throughout the year are always fun and a great learning experience. I recommend Candora to everyone
