This location has always had great selection on computer parts and niece electronics I have always been on the look out for. Recently purchased a Used 3D printer from them, for a fraction of what it would have cost at retail price. If you are a DIY geek or tinkerer. This place is always a great place to start. 🙂

This place was not easy to find, was not well-marked, but I found it anyway. Unfortunately it didn’t do me any good because there was no one there on a Tuesday afternoon. When I called, I was forwarded to someone who was not in Edmonton and had no information and then hung up on me when I was “forwarded”. When I called back, I got someone in Montreal who forwarded me to someone else who hung up on me. What a gong show and a waste of time of an organization!

After receiving the below response from the owner and a subsequent message on Linked In asking how they could improve 2 years after the initial review, let me offer this suggestion as to how an owner could have responded to a 1-star review of their business (perhaps within a week or two instead of after 2 years):
"We are deeply sorry that we did not communicate the terms of service of our business and that you were misdirected multiple times by our customer service representatives. We typically offer our services by appointment; if you would like to schedule an appointment, please call ###)."

A scam. They misrepresent themselves as a charitable organization but they are not registered as one in Canada. I work with vulnerable people and they promise to donate a laptop which they never did, they kept asking for social media recognition but never followed up with their donation despite multiple emails and promises. Beware.

This association is not to be confused with "Alberta Recycling" for ADS fees for equipment purchased. I am not one to jump to providing a poor rating as I believe every business should have a shot at redemption, however ERA has had too many chances and still fails to listen.

Their poor methods of both profiling businesses to obtain computers for resale, and managing a proper do-not-call list are just a small part of our concern.

We have contacted them on several occasions (Phone and E-mail) without resolve. Stop harassing companies.
