Sorry I am scared terrorized they called me up started asking questions I thought they were for a place that I was already in contact with. I don't know who or what they are about but then I see all this stuff on their site about case managers and all these things they force people to work with. They Called me up ..... I am already terrorized... they did not say we got a referal from X to say to contact you and see if you need help. THEY JUST ASSUME then blame me for not knowing my phone has a log of calls from months back it does not lie. THIS TERRORIZES ME HOW DID THEY GET ME MY NAME AND NUMBER, and then expect that I am gooing to be ok with this. DONT THEY GET how and what this does to a disabled person. THEY NEED TO EXPLAIN THING BEFORE GOING ANY FURTHER.
I don't know if Mayor Council or other made the call... BUT don't do this to a person without explaining if you want to help me find a real place for rent or if you have actual appartments for rent STOP LYING TO ME. MAYBE then we can work together. I am autistic Savant with ADHD BUT I AM ALSO NOT DUMMKOFT.

THIS CAN be changed when explanations or how I am helped and how it works out. NO micromanagement of me. AND I still know I have to go to the streets even if I have a place till people stop harassing me and I still might die because of them. But at least fore a few hours I can shower change and wash clothing and charge things if I can get housing till the harassers all of them are gone.

My experience with homeward trust well I put my name on the list over 2 yrs ago I'm still being told I have to wait for a team. This program is not what it appears to be. Like really what does a person need to do throw them selves in front of a bus. I don't feel that I've gotten any support from these people it's an excuse one after another. They just keep saying oh well try this program or that. I need support and help they got huge funds and yet people are getting nothing from this program

Their client caused much damage to our rental apartment and many problems for the building. We were reimbursed for a large portion of the damage but still lost money. Would not recommend.

They have been stringing me aling for 8 yrs. I have the same exact complaints as anyone else out there. I swear they have certian people on a list of people they wont help. I have ablomg drawn out story. ......so herebit is

Yes like i said i had 5 open files from when I started 8 yrs ago and i was actually opening the 6th file when sthe woman on the phone told me i had 5 previous open files and that she would just shrink them into one file. I thought jeez "do you hear what you just said?" & " why would you shrink them into one, because thatll obly cover your tracks as how long its been that they have been dinking me around. Literally dinking me around".So im really frustrated. Because last summer or is it the summer before i contacted them almost everyday and kept in touch when any of my info changed and still theu fed me generic rwplies and kept brushing me off onto different people to talk to and i never moved forward even though i got id and a bank account. But i am also an addict, & i am always having to replace a phone every week or mive locations because of staying with different types of abusive people just to have a roof over my head( but that summer i was stable-ish at the same adress. (That person was touching me when i was sleeping though so i had anfoght with them and eventually left). I ended up having to call an ambulance several times in the past two yrs(ive lost count) due to my degenerative scholeosis and several other issuea that developed because of situations i was in.They still did absolutely nothing. Its a long story of being run around, & having the HELP team play games with me and mess with my file and closing it on me a week after i just did an intake file.I stayed in touch with them. But they just kept brushing me off with answers that made it seem like they reading. Off of a screen. Im losing my mind out here. And am fighting with fellings of hoplessness, depression, & suicidal thoughts(which i will never act on cause im too stibborn for that). I do struggle the more time that goes by though. Im starting to lose hope in believing ill ever get housed and its getting harder to fight off those thoughts some days. It feels like im almost drowning. I have ADHD AND BORDERLINE PERSONALITY DISORDER, & PTSD THAT MAKES MY MENTAL STATE VERY HARD TO COPE WITH WHEN IM MOVING FROM BUILDING TO BUILDING WITH ALL MY HEAVY BAGS AND TRUDGING THROUGH THE SNOW TRYING TO GET INTO SOMEWHERE WARM OR TO CHANGE MY CLOTHES BECAUSE I URINATED ON MY PANTS AGAIN(FROM HOLDING MY BLADDER FOR SEVERAL HOURS TRYING TO FIND SOMEWHERE TO GO TO THE BATHROOM). IT DEFINATLEY BREAKS A PERSONS CONFIDENCE SOME DAYS. AND IM EXHAUSTED BY THE END OF EACH DAY. SO THATS SOME OF MY SITUATION IN NUTSLL. And guess what LISA MCLEAN. ITS CALLED THE HOUSING FIRST PROGRAM BECAUSE THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO HOUSE YOU FIRST BEFORE YOU GO TO TREATMENT. SO THAT A PERSON HAS SOMETHING TO COME BACK TO.. I REMEMBER WHEN THEY STARTED THIS. PROGRAM IN CALGARY. SO GET IT RIGHT.

Housing first doesn't work if you don't first address the addictions and mental health issues. Paying to move them each time they are evicted only costs more. Wont happen for me again, 3 strikes you are done as a company I will rent to.
