Brittany Lane has been my home for nearly 14 years. I know most of my neighbours and love the feeling of safety, and connectedness my children and I have here.

Being a member at Brittany Lane has allowed me to serve my community in many ways and has given my children the opportunity to contribute as well. We’ve all benefited greatly from being a part of this community.

Everyone watches out for the kids here and truly cares for their well-being. I’m very grateful that we’ve been able to have a dog as well. Living here has been a blessing. There’s no place like it!

I have lived at Brittany Lane for five years and really do love it here. There are so many reasons why I continue to call Brittany Lane home. The sense of community and connection is evident in the Co-op and something that is really important to me. I feel safe and have never hesitated to let my children walk through the community. I never felt that way in my old neighborhood. It is also a benefit that I did not have to rehome my family pets - my dogs were welcome! The units are well maintained, our hired on site maintenance is quick to respond to issues and his work is good. The renovations are really nice and have modernized the units. Plus we get a yard! I don't see myself going anywhere anytime soon, this is and will continue to be home.

I have been a resident here for 13 years. It has been a wonderful place for me to raise my children. The rent is very reasonable and the units are well maintained. I have enjoyed being involved in our community through serving on different committees and the Board. I really like having a close knit community and that I know my neighbours. Lived here 2.5 years with my wife and four children. Overall good community, and fantastic place for a young family to get ahead. There is a playground/barbecue deck, a sport court, an indoor community centre which you can reserve for private use, and a handful of seasonal community events. Co-operative living has many of the benefits of ownership without the financial risk. It is not low-income housing. Members have can have a lot of positive (or negative) impact on the community; overall, you'll get out of this place what you're willing to put into it.

My daughter and I moved into Brittany Lane when she was just a few weeks old, we got the last unit available, brand new (I watched it get built, and then saw the fences go up). I was very proud to call it my home for 2.5 years. We only moved because I was getting married.

I have lived here for years and it is truly a community within a community. There are a few odd-ducks review bombing Brittney Lane and that is a real shame because this place is the most amazing affordable housing in Sherwood Park (and possibly all of the Edmonton region).
