We recently had our wedding at Rivers Edge at the end of September. This venue is incredible - from the picturesque ceremony site that over looks the River valley to the spectacular and unique tent, we all cannot say enough praise about it.
Jeremy was very easy to connect with and worked so diligently to help make our day perfect. Also, the way he has decor drop off and pick up organized made everything seamless.
We definitely recommend Rivers Edge for anyone looking for a wonderful venue experience!!

Where do you even start, reviewing a business that cares so much and really puts their heart and soul into every single detail of your wedding day. Jeremy and Diana, we can’t begin to express how amazing you and your team made our wedding day. Everything was perfect to the final detail, you guys went above and beyond what anyone would expect from a wedding venue. I would text to ask a question and Jeremy’s response would be “already taken care of” or “sure I can help with that”

The ceremony: The view overlooking the river is breath taking, we had so many compliments from friends and family on this and how well kept the area is.

The reception: Everyone that walked in was blown away. From the twinkle barn perfect for photos, to the stunning grain bin bar, to the perfectly manicured lawn. Everything was absolutely perfect!!

This review doesn’t seem like enough to thank you for how special you made us feel, anyone thinking of having your wedding here don’t even think twice… JUST BOOK IT NOW!

River’s Edge is absolutely stunning!! We had our wedding here this past summer. The venue has so much character and has been designed and built with so much thought- the bridal/groom suites are perfect; our parties had such a relaxing start to the morning here. The ceremony views are amazing; literally breathtaking for photos and a little social gathering post ceremony. When you walk into the reception grounds you are left speechless. The unique features of the white tent & patio, the grain bin bar, the cigar den, etc. it is all so perfect. Our guests still compliment on how wonderful our venue was. We are still in awe about how much work Jeremy and Diana put in every day to keep the yard looking as spectacular as it does for every wedding - you can tell they take so much pride in what they do.

Jeremy and Diana are an absolute gem to work with. They were so easy going and communicative throughout the whole process- from a venue tour, planning questions and all the way up until our big day. On our wedding day, they were beyond helpful with everything- if something needed to be set up, moved, etc. they were a quick message away with a “yes we can do that for you!” or it was just already done. We could not have had a more perfect day at River’s Edge! Highly recommend this venue for any event!

1000000% recommend this place!!!!! Every possible detail about the ceremony space and reception space are perfect. Jeremy is so easy to work with, so chill and laid back (definitely appreciated by this bride!!!) and hilarious. He worked his butt off for us. I recently hosted my wedding at Rivers Edge and while the scenery was beautiful, the experience was riddled with mismanagement that turned what should have been a joyous occasion into a stressful nightmare.

First and foremost, the liquor situation was a disaster. The bartenders left for the night without proper communication of the vendor securing our alcohol, resulting in all of it being stolen. This was incredibly disappointing, especially given how much we had invested. To add insult to injury, our belongings from the bridal suite were carelessly thrown out onto the porch in the rain without any notice, leading to several items going missing, including my veil, shoes, clothing,makeup and food from the suite.

Speaking of food, the caterers called the venue just 24 hours before the wedding to confirm details, only to arrive and discover there was no potable running water—something they had been assured would be available, and is mentioned to be a part of the “full kitchen” at rivers edge , which by the way does not have a stove or anywhere to even heat up food … AHS regulations dictate that they should have left, but instead, they risked serving us without basic necessities. When they raised concerns, the owner's wife brushed them off, implyingthe caterers would be the ones facing repercussions if AHS found out. It was incredibly unprofessional.

Furthermore, one of the staff members took it upon themselves to disassemble a handmade headboard that had taken a friend over 20 hours to craft. Their justification was “in the interest of preserving it,” but in reality, it was completely ruined. In case the owner tries to respond by saying we left it too long, we did offer to oick all out stuff up the next day, which we weren’t allowed to because there was another wedding and we let them know we were leaving the next day on our honeymoon.
The only reason we had a dinner at all was that the caterers managed to make it work, albeit with lukewarm food due to the lack of cold water.

To make matters worse, my sisters unknowingly dismantled decorations that were part of our expensive package, as no one informed them they weren’t supposed to. It was yet another layer of confusion that added to the overall disappointment.

In conclusion, while Rivers Edge boasts lovely scenery, the lack of proper coordination and care left a bitter taste. I truly believe that the vendors who work behind the scenes should have a platform to share their experiences, as they are the ones who see the reality of how this venue operates. Save yourself the stress and choose a venue that values its clients and their special day. I have included a picture of my wedding backdrop before and after for reference.

Before I get into it - book with River's Edge, if you can! They are truly amazing. They worked with us on short notice to really make our wedding incredibly special. They were friendly, easy, and accommodating, and I know there was more work behind the scenes than I'm even aware of on our wedding day to ensure everything went smoothly... from helping with set up, to making us a special arch, to ensuring my signs had holes so we could hang them... so many big and little things that made the day a success. I can't even count the number of people who commented on how beautiful the space was, and they have done a wonderful job to ensure the space is accessible for folks who need assistance with mobility. I truly loved everything about our day, and it never would have happened if it wasn't for River's Edge.

Beautiful setting in the country, loads of space to mingle around, with all the amenities you will ever need!
The operator's are super friendly and very helpful at a time when you could use a lil bit of direction!!
Worth every dollar!!
