I would not recommend this treatment center for any woman you know or love. My sister attended in early September & did a self discharge after 9 days. During her stay she had 2 seizures due medication errors after her 2nd seizure Kristen the director of AlCove tried to have her admitted under a form 1. The doctor that she saw refused because all that happened was she had a seizure. There were medication errors from the very beginning where she advocated for herself knowing the medication was wrong & her husband told the staff this as well. The reason for her self discharge was because they refused to let her talk to her daughter after being told that her kids were the only people she was allowed to talk to. The form was 1 a lie saying she was physically combative with staff and clients which she never was. My sister has never been physical in her life. Though she can get verbal, there was a lot of drama at this place. I would NOT recommend. Ongoing active investigation with AHS. Due to the mistreatment people have endured. My sister has lost her licence due to the seizures which could have been prevented had they listened to her about her medication errors. The only good worker there is the case manager Jordan. I feel sorry for any woman who was fearful to come forward

Currently at Alcove. I am so happy to have found this treatment center. I'm experiencing nothing but great things here. The staff are very kind and caring. They've been helping me reach my goals, they really bring out the best in me. I get to be reunited with my son on October 21st. I'd honestly recommend to the next woman who needs help, to reach out and try out Alcove. 5 stars for me

Alcove offers a safe haven I would happily recommend to any women going through recovery. Having the space to open up in a trusted, safe and secure environment is crucial. Alcove offers this seemingly without effort with their incredible staff and programs. Letting go of addiction and trauma that tags along with it is a battle no one should fight alone. The Staff at alcove are ready to help!

The staff are more focused on their power trips than the actually healing of the girls. Be careful not to disagree with anything Nicole says because she will say you're arguing. She makes it known when shes impatient and lacks professionalism. Yet she can disagree with anything you say. So much inconsistency and hypocrisy!! Money grab for sure! Staff are more focused on controlling and feeding their egos. Noticed some staff treating other staff different as well including treating the practicum students like they are inferior or along those lines.

I attended this three month program. I appreciated the 3 books we completed during those 3 months. I adored our core teacher- she was a genuine role model. However, for the rest of the managing staff at this place lacked professionalism, hypocrisy is a major practice here as well. I don't know many women who completed the program due to unfair, drastic, and spontaneous dismissals. I found this place a money grab and not a decent place to start recovery. And no men are allowed in this building I don't see why MEN are reviewing it... they are irrelevant or biased. Good luck out there anyone in recovery. Allannah

I just want to say I find it messed up that a girl had 2 positive tests for opiates didn't get kicked out and I was kicked out for a Tylenol wrapper they also gave me someone else's medication one night which could of messed me up and they found a pill on a girl in there as well and she is still there I think the rules should apply the same for everyone
